Norweskie fiordy najpiękniejszym miejscem na świecie
Prestiżowy magazyn przyrodniczo-podróżniczy National Geographic ponownie uznał norweskie fiordy za najpiękniejszy z możliwych cel wycieczki. W skali od 1 do 100 norweskie fiordy uzyskały 85 punktów i znalazły się na samym szczycie listy najpiękniejszych miejsc na świecie.
Drugie miejsce zajął kanadyjski Park Narodowy Kootenay/Yoho (81 punktów), a trzecie South Island w Nowej Zelandii (80 punktów). Dla Norwegii to już drugie zwycięstwo w plebiscycie National Geographic – wcześniej fiordy za najpiękniejsze miejsce na Ziemi uznano w 2004 roku.
W tworzeniu listy wzięło udział 437 doświadczonych podróżników z całego świata, którzy oceniali nie tylko piękno krajobrazu, ale też poziom ochrony przyrody oraz miejscowej kultury czy infrastrukturę turystyczną. Wszyscy byli zachwyceni nie tylko niesamowitymi widokami, ale i gościnnością Norwegów oraz ich dbałością o ochronę przyrody oraz kulturalnego dziedzictwa.
